GIFTWARE

In partnership with my wife Emma, a ceramicist, we can offer a variety of bespoke gifts with which to mark life's special occasions.

Probably the most popular items are commemorative platters and bowls which are hand painted to the clients requirements with family crests or other relevant designs, such as a picture of the ceremony venue.

Although lettering is usually done around the rim of the piece this area can be left blank so that guests can sign the plate with special "ceramic" pens. Once completed the piece is "fired" in a domestic oven to fix the signatures and make it wash proof.

Another popular item is the baby footprint, or handprint. These are normally done on plain ceramic tiles which are then lettered with the child's name and date of birth, or naming ceremony, and framed.

Whilst plates and tiles are the most popular items we can supply a wide variety of ceramic goods in all sorts of shapes and styles from tankards to teapots. To find out more visit us at Platform 22 in Torphins or visit our website. Alternatively contact myself at the address/phone given below.

PLEASE NOTE: this is not a service offered by the Humanist Society of Scotland and any enquiries should be directed solely to myself.
